First there were the long and painful goodbyes at the hospital, then there were the ones very public at the funerals and this weekend there were the ones at my mother's burial. It was a sad day but also (curiously) a beautiful day. The kids played hide and seek before the intimate and simple ceremony. I'm so grateful they are part of my life. They make things easier.
Tout d'abord il y a eu les au revoir très longs et difficiles à l'hôpital, puis ceux très publics aux funérailles et en fin de semaine il y a eu ceux à l'inhumation de ma mère. Ce fut une triste journée, mais aussi (curieusement) une belle journée. Les enfants ont joué à la cachette avant la petite et intime cérémonie. Heureusement qu'ils sont là. La vie est plus facile grâce à eux.
