This chair was waiting for it's makeover for more than 10 years. Finally, it's done!
I bought this chair more then 20 years ago (it was already vintage back then). I fell in love with its sexy curves and its unique cotton webbing (it looked like a fancy garden chair).
After a few years, the straps brooke slowly one by one and the frame needed to be solidified. The chair stayed in my father's garage for so long before he had time to glue it back together and then more years passed before I found the time (and the willingness) to paint it. The straps (hard to find) were installed by a professional (Merci monsieur François!). I'm so happy with the end result.
Depuis plus de 10 ans que je promets de redonner vie à cette chaise. C'est finalement fait!
J'ai acheté cette chaise il y a plus de 20 ans dans une brocante à Montréal. Avec le temps les courroies ont brisé et la structure a faibli. Mon père l'a gardée dans son garage pendant des années avant de la recoller en place. J'ai récemment trouver le temps et le désir de la repeindre. Les courroies (pas facile à trouver) ont été installées par un professionnel (Merci monsieur François!). J'adore ma nouvelle chaise. Une deuxième lune de miel commence!
