This summer, we finally took all the family to Europe. For years, it was a dream of mine. To bring the kids to Europe and show them our Paris, the one we experienced when we lived there (way before the kids). But before Paris, we made a long detour to Italy. First stop Venice. The kids loved it, it was like love at first sight. The canals, the streets without cars (like a giant maze), the colors, the Lido Beach, the vaporati. Some people thought that little "O" at 7 years old was to young to really appreciate the trip but when he told me: "Venice is beautiful. It is well done!" I knew, it's going to be fine.

Enfin, cet été nous sommes partis en famille en Europe. J'en rêvais depuis des années. Amener les enfants en Europe et leur faire découvrir notre Paris, celui que nous avons connu quand nous y habitions (bien avant les enfants). Mais avant Paris, nous avons fait un long détour par l'Italie. Premier arrêt Venise. Les enfants ont adoré, ce fut comme un coup de foudre. Les canaux, les petites rues sans voiture (comme un géant labyrinthe), les couleurs, la plage de Lido, les vaporati. Des gens pensaient que petit "O" à 7 ans était trop jeune pour vraiment apprécier ce voyage, mais quand mon garçon m'a dit : "C'est beau Venise. C'est bien fait!" J'ai su, ça allait bien se passer.
