Back home, Revenir chez nous

One of the best thing about going away is coming back home...  For me, it's like I rediscover my home, I have new appreciation for it (since I'm always in it, I need a break sometimes). 

Ce qui a de bien quand on part en voyage, c'est revenir à la maison... Pour moi, c'est comme si je redécouvrais ma maison, comme si je l'appréciais de nouveau (puisque je suis toujours à la maison, j'ai vraiment besoin de prendre l'air des fois).

 First I found the vintage Fisher Train wagon then months later the engin. 

I was so excited (maybe more than my boy).

J'ai d'abord trouvé le wagon Fisher Price puis des mois plus tard la locomotive.  

J'étais tellement excitée (peut-être même plus que mon garçon).

This canteen was my boyfriend's when he was a boy scout.

Mon copain avait cette gourde lorsqu'il était scout.

Un globe-lampe vintage fait au Danemark et un très beau livre sur les trains d'Alain Grée offert par une amie.

"J" reinvented this simple Ikea lamp by adding an elastic hair band. 

The lamp is also great to organize all her head bands

"J" a réinventé cette simple lampe Ikea en y ajoutant un bandeau élastique pour les cheveux.

La lampe est aussi parfaite pour ranger tous ses serre-têtes.
